Hercules is living at Myrtle Beach Safari since 2002. Hercules the liger is 11 feet long and 6 feet tall. This really makes him a massive and gigantic big cat living on planet earth. All the other brothers of Hercules the liger named as Zeus, Vulcan and Sinbad were also born at this zoo as well. Previously Samson and Sudan were also part of this zoo as well. The Myrtle Beach Safari zoo is in operation throughout 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. Dr. Bhagavan Antle is the most influential person at the zoo, who has more than 40 years of experience with the big cats. He has raised tigers, lions, ligers, Jaguars, Leopards and Pumas at this animal sanctuary. This makes him one of the Best Big Cat Expert in the world. He has personally raised more than 10 ligers in his life which also makes him the best liger expert as well. Other key persons present at the zoo include Rajani Ferrante, Moksha Bybee, China York, Kody Antle and Chris Heiden etc. All of these individuals are liger experts and it is because of their efforts along with Dr. Bhagavan Antle, that they have launched a very successful liger program at this liger zoo.

Guinness Book of World Records Team has been here to evaluate the health, weight and size of Hercules the liger. They took photographs of Hercules the liger and published them within Guinness Book of World Records. Moreover; almost every month, Media people come and visit the zoo to demonstrate and capture the special ambience at the Myrtle Beach Safari Zoo for the ligers. Even at the start of the year 2014, there was a huge buzz in the media and a big rush of people at the Myrtle Beach Safari zoo, when 4 white liger cubs were born at the zoo. This was the first time, that a white male lion and white female tiger has given birth to 4 male while ligers in the world.
